School funded by the band

As part of their ongoing commitment to supporting the work of Gateway School in India, the American Christian band Third Day have sent a further installment of money from their Come Together Fund. The band originally financed the purchase of the land for the Come Together Compound where the school is based, and since then have been helping provide salaries for teachers and extra funds for finishing the building of the school.

Double celebration

The Christians in Seethanagarm not only celebrated the birth of the Saviour but Christmas Day was also the day they officially opened their new Church building. As the pictures show there was such colour and celebrations. The building has been paid for by Third Day fans who either gave at their concert on the 3rd June, or signed up to giving regularly to allow the Christians in Seethanagarm to have their own building.

Pastor Philip Raj and his church family send thanks and greetings to all those who have given generously so that they now have a safe place to worship.

All of us in Ignite pray 2010 will be a truly blessed year for them.
